Built by players who got tired of the "wait, how much gold do we actually have?" pause halfway through every session.
A purse per character
Everyone keeps their own coins and their own loot. You manage your purse; the rest of the party can see it but can't touch it.
All five coin types
Platinum, gold, electrum, silver and copper, each counted separately. Hold the plus or minus button to jump in steps of ten when the hoard is large.
A ledger you can trust
Every deposit and every expense is logged with the amount, a note, who entered it and when. Settle arguments by scrolling, not by memory.
Magic items with rarity
Track that Bag of Holding properly: type, rarity, whether it needs attunement, an estimated value and a note about the crypt you pulled it out of.
Eight languages
English, Dutch, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese and Chinese — item names included. Your table plays in whichever language it likes.
How it works
Set up before the first initiative roll
Three steps, about a minute. No spreadsheet, no shared document that somebody forgets to update.

Create your party
Name it after your campaign. The shared party pot is created with it, empty and ready for the first handful of copper.

Invite with a code
The app generates a short invite code. Drop it in your group chat; anyone who enters it joins the party and can create their character's purse.

Add coins with a note, add items straight from the catalogue, and watch the balance update for everyone at the table at once.

The full System Reference Document item list ships inside the app, translated into all eight languages. Type "bag of holding", tap it, and the type, rarity, attunement and a guide price are filled in for you.
- Works offline. The catalogue lives on your phone, so it still works in the basement where nobody has signal.
- Homebrew welcome. Nothing matched? Add your own item with a name, type, rarity and value in a few taps.
- Guide prices, not gospel. Magic items have no fixed price, so the app suggests one based on rarity and lets you overrule it.

Questions from the table
Is Ducats and Dragons free?
Yes. The app is free to download and use on both Android and iOS. There are no ads and nothing is locked behind a paywall.
Does everyone in the party need the app?
Only the players who want their own purse. One person creates the party and shares an invite code; anyone who enters that code joins and sees the shared party pot straight away. A DM can also run the party pot alone and read out balances at the table.
Which coins does the app track?
All five standard coin types: platinum, gold, electrum, silver and copper. Each purse keeps them separate, so you always know exactly what is in the chest.
Can I add homebrew items?
Yes. Search the built-in SRD 5.1 catalogue for standard gear and magic items, or add your own with a name, type, rarity, attunement flag and value. Homebrew items behave exactly like catalogue items.
Which languages does the app support?
English, Dutch, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese and Chinese. The item catalogue is translated too, and the app follows your phone's language unless you pick another one in settings.
Do I need an account?
Yes, because parties are shared between devices. You can sign in with an email address and password, with Google, or with Apple. You can delete your account from the app's settings at any time.
Does it work for other tabletop RPGs?
The coin system and item catalogue follow D&D 5th edition, but nothing stops you from using the purses, transaction log and custom items for Pathfinder or any other fantasy campaign.
